I happened across this article just now, and I'm still not sure if they're serious. OK, yes, I know that online data is at risk -- I get that. But when they say, "Don't use online banking" and "Don't file your taxes online" -- are they kidding? Do they really mean it?
I guess I'm just pretty secure in my online insecurity.

I guess you have to weigh conveniance against security, and use your best judgement. I, for one, wouldn't give my account number or anything online, even at a banks website. I guess there are just too many people these days who are willing to learn how to obtain this type of information and really con you out of some money.
