Dear President Obama,

Next time you have something that you just need to say to the American people, could you please:

A. Say it on TBS or TNT or even Nick at Nite
B. Say it on Saturday night when there's nothing good on TV anyway
C. Say it during any episode of any Law&Order franchise show and only on that network
D. Email it to us

Any of these would be preferable to pre-empting House and Chuck and nearly making me miss the last few crucial seconds of 24. Do not mess with my DVR, Mr. President. I do not take kindly to being deprived of my Jack Bauer.
