So, I was talking to a friend who has a sister with Down's syndrome, and he mentioned that when he was younger, he also had a friend who had a sister with Down's syndrome, and whenever she heard someone say, "Dude, that's so retarded," or similar, she would say, "That's so funny, because my SISTER is retarded."
I've told that story about 47 times today, and it STILL makes me laugh.

That is awesome. I also have a sister with DS and I never know what to say when someone uses the word "retarded". I think I just found my answer.
