Livebloggging Disneyworld

So, a couple weeks ago, Mr. WG and I had to cancel the vacation we planned to take without the boys. Long story, not important, whatever. Anyway, Mr. WG then decided that our children deserved a vacation anyway, and he settled upon Disneyworld. He used the Starwood card points to book two rooms at the Swan, and we settled for the only available week left. And then we decided that it would be fun NOT to tell the kids. To surprise them. Because how often in your life do you wake up and hear, "Do you want to go to Disneyworld today? Well, OK then!"

We got here yesterday, and we hit the Animal Kingdom today. Tomorrow is the big MK day -- the first of two.

Do you think the boys had fun today?

I discovered this awesome site, TourGuideMike.com that offered complete plans for avoiding lines at the parks. We hit AK today before opening, used the secret entrance to get past the crowds, fast passed the main events and spent the morning riding rides no one else was on. By noon, we had done everything we wanted to do EXCEPT see the Lion King show, which we'll try to get to another day.

Do you think the girls appreciated all my research?

Anyway, there is no free Internet at the MK, so I'll have to post the travelogue when I get back. Try not to miss me too much!

And, did you see Lion King? What did you think?
