8:14 a.m., SMS from Shadow: Hey WG, today they have a whole program for Yom Haatzmaut (Israel Independence Day) until 1 but I have a final so I can't stay past 12. Do you want to come stay with D. here?
8:15 a.m., SMS from Shadow: Or do you want me to bring him home?
8:17 a.m., SMS from WG: Will Teacher let him stay without you? It's only an hour.
8:19 a.m., SMS from Shadow: Rabbi Principal said that you or someone else has to be here if D's going to stay, because it's a very hectic day, and it's not up to Teacher.
(WG swears loudly.)
8:24 a.m., SMS from WG: That's ridiculous, and I'm trying to get Rabbi Principal on the phone right now.
WG calls the school and is told that Rabbi Principal is very busy. Does WG want to leave a message? No, she does not. She wants to talk to him RIGHT NOW.
RP: Hello, good morning!
WG: Good morning. Listen, I just got a message from Shadow that she needs to leave at noon for a final, and she says that you said that D. can't stay without an aide, that it's not up to Teacher.
RP: (Sighs.) Well, let me tell you what happened. Shadow came and told me that she had to leave, and what to do. I asked what Teacher thought. Teacher said she thought it wasn't good for him to stay.
WG: Blah blah conflicting messages, blah blah not okay, blah blah, realize D. isn't coming back next year, but still blah blah.
RP: Listen. You stay calm, and I will handle it, and D. will be fine. Just tell Teacher and Shadow that you have plans and can't get him early.
8:31 a.m. SMS from WG: Rabbi Principal is going to find a place for him to be. I hae stuff scheduled through 12:40 because that's when I planned to leave for carpool.
8:37 a.m. SMS from Shadow: Rabbi Principal is an ass and D. will stay with Teacher.
It's not just me, right? SOMEONE isn't telling the truth.

That teacher, she lies! So glad you won't have to deal with this nonsense next year.
I am thinking if they can't get hold of you then he gets to stay. I think I am going to try that one if I am ever in the same boat.
