Quick Update to Assuage the Guilt

So, when I don't post for a while, I feel the next post should be compelling, lengthy, heartfelt, whatever, and then I really don't post for a while. So! A quick post before my conference call, just to get you all up to speed.

1. Had meeting with school. D. will stay put for this year, but we will not go shadow-less anytime in the near future.

2. Looking for placement for next year. Need more therapeutic environment.

3. Meeting fellow blogger today, but cannot link to her blog as it is password protected.

4. Mr. WG nearly quit his job, but instead got a raise and promotion FINALLY, after being promised said raise and promotion since JULY.

OK. I have a lot to say about a lot of things, and now that I got this post out of the way, I will be able to say them. I know, screwy head games we play with ourselves, but what are you gonna do?

Me, me, it was me! So good to meet you today! Julia is crashed out, which in toddler-speak means she had fun too.

1. Oh, good!
2. Good luck!
3. Yay, how fun!
4. Congrats Mr. WG!!!

And just remember - your blog is, first and foremost, for YOU. Don't let it feel like a chore or a guilt-inducing obligation. Post when you want to post. You've built up enough of an archive that we'll keep ourselves entertained if you, y'know, have a real life.

Whatever happened to your friend who had the snakeboy blog? I used to read it and now it is gone!

Lisa -- it was so awesome having you come to play.

Ella -- thank you. And it doesn't feel like a chore, I just sometimes feel pressure to have every word be right.

Shosh -- she's at http://momsdayoff.blogspot.com/ -- and that's me she's talking about in that entry there on top. Although of course I would describe those events differently.

I'll be interested to see what you have planned for school next year and its lit a fire under my butt to get J on the waitlists for our schools that can cater to special needs kids.
