Story, Interrupted

I'm sorry, but I have to interrupt The Long and Often Boring and Sometimes Amusing and Occasionally Exciting Story of How WG and MR WG Met and Married and Had Four Kids and Moved a Bunch of Times (Working Title) to tell you several things that I have been meaning to mention for several days.

1. My sister's wedding is off. Did I tell you that? Yeah. It's off.
2. Thanksgiving rocked, and I am a good cook. Just FYI.
3. You have to come over, Internet, so that you can hear the things S. says. We've had some real gems recently, like: "Mommy, do you have any experiments that I can do?" "Off the top of my head, no." "No, not on your head. Just experiments." How do you not LOVE that kid to BITS?
4. Z., on the other hand -- well, we're thinking of boxing her up and sending her to Timbuktu. Or Madonna, since to hear Z. tell it, she is DEFINITELY the MOST underprivileged child IN THE WHOLE WORLD.
5. D. keeps getting freaky weird rashes and it is making me nuts. Also he did not pass his hearing test with flying colors. Possible culprit: allergies. Treatment: Daily dose of OTC Claritin. Test to be repeated in one month.
6. To the commentor who requested a cheat sheet of Jewish/Yiddish terms, I am working on it. Deadline tomorrow, then some downtime, I hope for a few days, and I want to prettiful the blog and stuff. Or just sit around clearing out the Tivo. Whichever.
7. Speaking of Tivo, what the hell? Why exactly was The Nine cancelled? And WHY do I fall for this crap every year and actually watch new series (serieses?)?

That's all. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

Let me know if you need help with the Yid babble glossary... I actually know right where our "The Joy of Yiddish" is, amazingly enough.

Excellent! Thank you for going to the trouble of doing a translation of Yiddish terms for those of us who have no idea. I wasn't even sure if you would read my comment. No rush - I imagine you're very busy, and appreciate your effort when you can manage it.

All the best.

Helen - the Aussie girl.
